Dr.M. Girish Deepak is a consultant interventional cardiologist based in Tirunelveli. After obtaining MBBS and MD, he joined D.M cardiology in the prestigious PSG institute of medical sciences, Coimbatore (Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R university). After which he served as an Assistant Professor of cardiology for 2 years in SRM medical college, Chennai. He appeared for FNB-National Board examination for Fellowship in Interventional cardiology and scored 8^th rank in overall INDIA and stepped into NARAYANA HRUDAYALAYA-Bangalore and completed 2 years training in INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY and served as a REGISTRAR- in charge of CATH LAB for 2 years during the same period.

During his service as cardiologist, he has performed around 5000 cases. He is a certified primary angioplasty operator with >75cases per year and has performed more than 700 elective angioplasties and more than 100 pacemakers. He is specialized in Angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, ICD & CRT implantation, ASD and PDA device closures, peripheral interventions and balloon Valvotomy. He had undergone basic training in EVAR and TAVI under eminent cardiologists from FRANCE and ITALY.

He has currently set up his own venture NARAYANA HEART CENTER in Palayamkottai and is a visiting consultant in ROSEMARY Hospital, SHIFA Hospital, Kidney Care Center and Krishna Hospital in Tirunelveli.

He is a member of Cardiological Society of India and has presented various papers in Annual CSI meetings.
